
About Saipan Sunset Cruise, Inc.
October 1990 > We started operations with the yacht, Jade Lady I, a 37-foot tri-maran, US Coast Guard (USCG)-certified for 39 passengers plus captain and crew, offering sunset dinner cruises, morning transfers to Managaha Island, lunch cruises.
August 1991 > To meet increasing volume of business, we acquired Jade Lady II, a 41-foot tri-maran, USCG-certified for 49 passengers plus captain and crew.
April 1995 > To meet our increasing volume of business, we acquired Jade Lady III, a 64-foot sailing catamaran, USCG-certified for 126 passengers plus captain and crew.
September 1997 > We expanded our business by acquiring Banana Split I, a 19-foot rigid inflatable boat, USCG-certified for 10 passengers plus captain and crew, to offer high speed transfers between Managaha Island and high speed thrill rides in the Saipan Lagoon.
September 2000 > To meet increasing volume of business, we custom built Banana Split II, a 24-foot rigid inflatable boat, USCG-certified for 18 passengers plus captain and crew.
**Unfortunately, Banana Split II has been decommissioned since November 2011.**
We currently employ 18 people including four well-seasoned captains pilot Jade Lady III, while an experienced boat crew of deck hands, waiters, and waitresses come from Saipan, other Micronesian Islands, and the Philippines – we are an international mix. Our office is located at Fiesta Resort & Spa in Garapan, Saipan, in the heart of the tourist district and employs a full staff to handle reservations, marketing (Korean staff), accounting and administration.
